ITEMS SOLD
Items sold must be of good quality. Hand crafted items, jewellery, woven and textile goods must not be product of unethical background. Food produce must be equally as good quality and free range / fair trade or ethically sourced ingredients. Fair Trade branded goods must have the Fair Trade details, or show evidence of the Fair Trade Alliance. If they don't carry the logo, please supply the details of where they are from (unfortunately there are lots of unethically companies import and then claim Fair Trade). The ethos of South West Fairs is to bring quality arts and crafts to everyone whilst maintaining economic infrastructures of third world countries, encouraging cooperatives around the world to work for a fair price, be sustainable and where possible, recycle. If we believe goods are not adhereing to the above, we will ask you to provide proof of their origins. Goods that are imported without care will be banned from South West Fairs shows in the future (that is not the sellers - the goods)
PRESENTATION
All tables must be covered to the floor where possible and be well presented.
STALL SIZE
Varies depending on location, but we strive to acheive the most generous space and accommodation of all Arts and Craft Fairs. There is nothing worse to a buyer when they can't navigate the stalls properly due to over crowding!
ELECTRICS
Please let us know when you book if you require electricity, as sockets are limited and there will be a first booked first sorted policy, that said every effort will be made to accommodate your needs. All appliances, plugs and leads must be certified as PATS compliant, or you will not be able to use them.
BOOKING
Bookings will only be held on receipt of payment. You can download a booking form on the website and either post or email it to us.
You are responsible for your own public liability insurance and South West Fairs take no responsibility for damages or losses.
SET UP
We aim to allow people at least one hour to set up for an event. Details will be sent prior to each event giving the set up times, start and finish times and details of parking / unloading availability. We do ask that no one pack away before the end of an event - setting down early detracts from the market, and will only be permitted in pre-arranged circumstances. Anyone who repeats packing away early without permission will not be able to trade again with re-agreeing to terms and conditions.
NEWSLETTERS
The newsletter is sent monthly. It contains all information on setting up, packing away, address for venue, parking etc. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter please ensure that you check the Face Book page for the contents if you have a fair booked with us that month!
CANCELLATION POLICY
If a stall holder cancels a months notice is required please. Any cancellations made less than one calendar month before the event date, for any reason, will forfeit the total fee paid. Cancellations maybe be made by telephone or email, but must be confirmed in writing as soon as possible.
Immediate table price deposit is required after cancellation to secure further dates you may have made.
CANCELLATION OF EVENT
In the unlikely event of the fair being cancelled or the venue being unavailable owing to circumstances beyond our control, we will endeavour to arrange another date in the near future, or refund your money in full.
OUR ASSURANCE
We will do our utmost to ensure that you have a successful fair, but bad weather or interruption of power or services is out of our control. In addition, we will not be responsible for damage to or theft of your stock/property whilst you attend our Fairs.
CHRISTMAS MARKET BOOKINGS
The general terms and conditions above apply. Christmas Market bookings will be held only upon receipt of either £150 deposit or payment in full. Cancellations before 1st September will be given a full refund. Cancellations after September will forefit the £150 deposit. Cancellations from November 25th onwards will forefit the full amount paid.
